| 2nd Annual Alumni BBQ |

Alumni and Actives of Pi Kappa Alpha, Iota Pi will be meeting up again for a barbeque on Sunday, February 28th at the park next to the federal building next to Wilshire Blvd. All members are encouraged to come and bring their families along with any food or games they would like to share with their Iota Pi brothers. This is an excellent opportunity for Alumni to reconnect with their brothers of old, as well as meet and teach some of our new members what Pike means to them.
More than anything, this BBQ is a chance for us all to kick back, have some fun, and celebrate our up coming founders day. I hope to see you all there!

Hey guys,
Just 13 days left until our UCLA PIKE ALUMNI DAY. Saturday August 8th. Let me know if you're in for either event

10AM - 1PM: Volunteer to help restore the Stone Canyon Creek behind the Anderson School on the UCLA campus (hosted by the Santa Monica Baykeeper). This will be hands-on (helping pull out non-native plants, plant native plants, etc.). For more information, here's the link: http://www.smbaykeeper.org/events.html#event1
FYI - I will be RSVP'ing for the group, so you don't need to RSVP yourself. Just let me know if you are committed to showing up and I will send you the final details once I receive them from the organization

5PM - 10PM: 10th Annual UCLA PIke Alumni Dodger Game. Meet at Phillippe's near downtown for food and drinks beforehand and then off to stadium for 7PM game vs. Braves. Congratulations everyone on throwing a very successful Founders Day Barbeque.
We had representives from Alpha Chi, all the way back to the original Alpha pledge class!
I am positive that the success of this last get together will prompt the establishment of a long and lasting tradition of Alumni involvement for future Pike brothers.
